As you probably already know, I love a giant linen shawl. I was wearing one around my apartment not too long ago, and it occurred to me that it would be nice if my shawl could stay draped around my shoulders without me needing to hold it in place. Wouldn't it be nice if my hands were relieved of shawl-holding duty? Voila! The armhole shawl was born!
